The current van for Yap SDA School is a 1991 Mitsubishi and has been repaired several times. Currently the lights don't work on it, so it can't be used at night. We need a reliable vehicle so that we can transport missionaries to church, school board, the grocery store, witnessing meetings and to occasionally transport students who stay for extra-curricular activities. A van is essential for us to do the work as there is no other transportation available on the island and these locations are several miles from the school campus.
We are looking for $6,000 so that we can source and purchase a new or used van. Thank you for any help you can give us!
