Ebeye is located in the Kwajalein atoll, which is one of the largest coral atolls in the world. The average height above sea level is 6 feet.
Ebeye is one of the 97 islands that make up the atoll and has the largest population of the atoll with over 15,000 residents living on 80 acres of land (0.14 square miles). Over 50% of the population is believed to be under the age of 18. It is one of the most densely populated places in the world and most of it's residents live in poverty.
Ebeye Seventh-day Adventist School is a three-story pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade school. Staff housing is about an eight-minute walk or five-minute bike to the school.
