Generator for Saipan SDA School

The recent typhoon hit Saipan hard and they are needing to purchase a new generator
Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands

On October 25, 2018, Super Typhoon Yutu slammed into the Northern Mariana Islands as a Category 5 storm. There is some serious damage to our school but after a week of hard work from the staff and volunteers, we were able to resume classes on Monday, November 5, 2018.

The school is still without power and the current generators that the school has, are not working properly. The Emergency Management agency stated that "It's going to take several months to get electricity back to everybody." That means that the school will need to run on generator for a while.

Currently the school has 3 generators that create a total of 25 kW's but the school's electrician says they need a generator with over 45 kW's. Another issue is that the current generators have to be turned off and back on every hour so that they can charge. With these issues, the computers in the office turn off unexpectedly, so it is difficult to get work done.

This generator would also be beneficial, in the future, as the church would be able to offer assistance to our church family in time's of crisis.

The school believes they can get a generator that will suit their needs for $5,000. If you are able to help with any amount, it would be greatly appreciated!
