Pastor Edgar Lloren is the pastor of the Saipan Central SDA Church and the Ministerial Director for the Guam-Micronesia Mission.
Pastor Ed completed his Bachelor of Arts, major in Theology and Health from Mountain View College and his Master in Public Health from the Adventist University of the Philippines. Instead of pursuing law under scholarship at Mindanao State University, he took the advice of our church leaders to study in the seminary. He was sent by the organization to study theology. He graduated with a Master of Arts in Religious Studies at Asia Theological Studies which at the time was based at the present Adventist University of the Philippines and was affiliated with Asia Theological Studies in Singapore. He completed his PhD degree in Biblical Studies (New Testament) from the Adventist International Studies (AIIAS).
He has served in various capacities as a colporteur, SULADS, church pastor, hospital chaplain, professor of religion courses and biblical studies teaching Hebrew and Greek languages. His last position in MVC was VP for Student Affairs. He was a member of the Theological Review Committee of the Southern California Conference, and Executive Committee of the Pacific Union Conference until 2018.
